About the event
Spend a day visiting the camps of the British Forces and the Colonist militias, watch an epic battle at 1:30 each day, see demonstrations of 18th century life, explore the grounds of the Fort at No 4, visit with Sutler's and see their wares, climb to the lookout tower and have some fun with children's games in the courtyard! Saturday brings two special additions! All day we will have Ken Burke and his collections of artifacts found in the immediate area for you to see and discuss, and Laurel Smith and her sons will speak at 11 am about their new book "New Hampshire Warrior Live Free or Die" with books available for purchase and signing. "Follow this journey of historical fiction of the beginnings of our New Hamshire history collaborated with my sons. We researched the military path based on four of our relatives in the Revolutionary War, including my great, great, great, grandfather's during that developing time of our country. He enlisted at age 15 and left his service forever lamed in the arm from the scourge of smallpox. At what price was his freedom?" (from the author).
