2021 Harvest Dinner & Reception

Out of concern for our dinner guests, and with deep regret, we have made the decision to cancel this season’s Harvest Dinner.  The museum is in the midst of a much-needed construction project involving the buildings used for dining, and unfortunately, due to supply-line issues, work will not be completed in time for the dinner.  This decision was not made lightly, and certainly not the pathway we would like to be following.  Our year-end Harvest Dinner has been an important fundraising vehicle for the museum, and a joyous way to end the fort’s traditional season.

Our deepest apologies for any inconvenience this decision may cause!
On a more upbeat note, our December presentations of A Christmas Carol, are right on track with River Theater Company working hard to bring you a wonderful seasonal experience in the Village of Number 4!  See A Christmas Carol: An Immersive Theater Experience for full details.
It is that time of year where we look to the passing year, celebrate another “season” well done, and begin plans for the new year!

Saturday, November 20th
4:30 PM Reception and Buildings Tour
6:00 PM Dinner Seating

Celebrate with us on Saturday, November 20th!  Begin the festivities at 5:00 PM with our reception in Stevens House (for this evening the buildings will be known at “Stevens’ Tavern”).  While waiting for dinner seating, visit select museum buildings and chat with interpreters about the season past, their area of specialization, and the displays on hand.

Our year-end Harvest Dinner and Reception is an important fundraiser for the museum.  Your involvement helps to maintain the museum during the off season and helps with preparations for the upcoming year!
